Program
The goal of this course is to overview most significant results and open problems behind social media manipulation: from fake news and disinformation spreading to polarisation dynamics, from bots identification, to correcting technology induced biases and vulnerability.
The course will provide some basic knowledge on network science principles, cognitive biases and text technologies that may help the student to understand models' formalism, and social media platform limitations.
