Program
Logics for AI have recently gained renewed interest due to their suitability for explanation and accountability, in view of a trustworthy and explainable AI.
The course will present an overview of some logical approaches in the field of Knowledge Representation and Reasoning and their use for explainability. Specifically, it will address topics concerning: description logics, ontologies with exceptions, revision of ontologies, reasoning about causality, preferential reasoning, multi-agent systems, accountability and compliance verification.
